K.A.S.S. - Kind Assistance to Substance Survivor's Society(Non-Profit) was newly formed, for the sole purpose of enacting K.A.S.S. Programs, offering kind assistance and clean life support, to all Communities, across West Canada.
This is "Totally Different Approach" based on kind assistance, out of the Drug World, and clean life support throughout the Recovery Journey, enabling them to build back their lives, away from Drugs & Alcohol Addiction.
Working together, with all Communities, to offer kind assistance and clean life support, to so many in need.
Opening the Dialogue, of all the Dangers, of Drugs & Alcohol, with kind assistance and with ongoing support. And together, building a Survivor's Network, supporting them, anytime needed, for years to come, building more and more positive outcomes!
Linking us together, using our proven methods, to impact the Drug Epidemic, that is threatening all our Communities, and our Society as a whole, like never before!
It started for us, back in 2012, where we started Volunteering our time, to young people, who've gotten in trouble with Drugs & Alcohol. Not willing to cast them out, as instructed, by all Government Agencies. Letting them "Bottom Out!" and they'll seek help for their Addiction, when they're ready. Dismissing their urgent need for Help!
We weren't able to accept, that the young people had to wait for any Services, and have to comply with all the in-take requirements, alone, before they even get an Appointment for assessment, with the Government Agencies, which is needed to begin any form of Treatment.
This can be up to 20 weeks, before they are "Clients" and can begin any form of Treatment. Leaving them, alone, waiting homeless with no support at all, forcing most of them back to the only place, that will take them, the Drug World.
We were unable to let them go back to the Drug World, without getting involved, and trying to find ways to assist them, ourselves!
Most of all, we've learnt that, they aren't going to break-free of Addiction, struggling alone!
